A7 would be built with the notes A C# E G. Below we have these notes in 9th position.

The picking above indicates natural (also known as economy) picking but you should also practice using alternate picking.
It is always a good idea to use a metronome and practice your arpeggios with eighth notes (below), triplet eighth notes and sixteenth notes. If you don't have a metronome and want to buy one click here.
